HMSHost is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, from receiving and storing merchandise to processing orders and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Main Responsibilities:- Merchandise Receipt and Storage: Receive and store merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to company standards.
- Order Processing: Review incoming orders, identify errors, and advise the Merchandise and/or Warehouse Manager for resolution.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely receipt and storage of merchandise.
- Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks on products, rotating stock to prevent expiration and damage.
- Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 0-1 year of warehousing experience.
- Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills, ability to work comfortably with customers, and treat colleagues with respect.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
- Personal Qualities: Open to new ideas, suggests improvements, and demonstrates appreciation for teamwork.
