Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our data architecture and analytics capabilities.
As a Senior Data Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data repositories, pipelines, and transformations to support our customer-facing products, internal tools, and business analytics and operations.
You will work closely with our Lead Data Engineer and engineers from multiple teams to define, design, and implement scalable and reliable products and features that utilize data to improve healthcare outcomes for the elderly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines and transformations using AWS and database technologies
- Build analytical tools to provide actionable insights into key metrics for healthcare professionals and executives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support their data needs for understanding care trends, improving patient outcomes, and analyzing opportunities to improve services and products
- Develop tests to validate results and ensure high code and data quality
- Document changes and write technical specifications to maintain and improve systems
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional software development experience working at a SaaS company, preferably in a startup environment
- Proven track record of implementing and supporting data storage and pipeline solutions
- Proficiency with Python and PySpark in a data engineering context
- Proficiency with SQL and database concepts and tools
- Experience with data analytics technologies and tools, such as Looker
