Physician Assistant

As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for collecting and interpreting medical information, making clinical decisions, and carrying out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and interpret medical information to inform clinical decision-making
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Conduct physical exams and order diagnostic tests as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of medical concepts and principles is also essential.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant educational degree program recognized by the Physician Assistant Certification Council of Canada (PACCC)
• Holds one of the following certifications: Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) through PACCC or the Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Licenses and memberships in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) and the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $105,000-$120,000 based on industry standards and the location of La Ronge, SK. Benefits include comprehensive health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
