About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a creative and strategic thinker to lead design initiatives with significant impact and complexity across PC Financial mobile and web platforms. As a Senior UX Designer, you will partner with product owners, tech leads, and other designers to deliver customer and business outcomes that we can celebrate and learn from.
You will be responsible for facilitating discovery sessions and workshops to align your team around clearly defined problem statements and goals. Your focus will be on the interplay between words, visuals, space, time, and behaviors of digital user interfaces. You will design high-fidelity interfaces and create all design artifacts for front-end developers to implement.
Key Responsibilities- Problem Discovery, Definition & Goal Setting: Collaborate with your team to ensure problems, initiatives, and outcomes are well-defined and documented based on objective data.
- Interaction Design: Apply interaction design processes to achieve the right outcomes with your team.
- Art Direction & Visual Design: Design high-fidelity interfaces and create all design artifacts for front-end developers to implement.
- Design Systems Thinking: Ensure design solutions utilize and further the team's design system.
- Design Research, Validation & Iteration: Contribute to and lead user and market research activities, and synthesize their results.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 3+ years of experience working as a designer on cross-functional teams releasing consumer experiences or enterprise products.
- A portfolio with recent case studies that demonstrate beautiful, accessible, scalable digital experiences that you have shipped.
- Your approaches to problem framing and solutioning while balancing stakeholder needs and technical constraints.
- Your ability to use design as a tool to uncover what questions to ask, what solutions to explore, and how to define and measure success.
