Job Summary:

The Manager of Technical Accounting will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting. This position will be responsible for addressing complex accounting issues, providing technical guidance, and supporting the overall accounting function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical accounting function by researching, interpreting, and implementing new accounting standards and regulations.
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements and disclosures.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a key advisor to the finance team and other departments on technical accounting matters.
  • Strengthen and enhance internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Effectively communicate technical accounting matters to senior management, auditors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in technical accounting, preferably with a mix of public accounting (Big 4 experience strongly preferred) and industry experience.
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
