About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team at River View Hotel. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Job Summary
  • This is a permanent full-time position working 35-40 hours per week.
  • The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hotel industry.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  2. Conduct regular inspections to ensure sites or facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards.
  3. Recommend and arrange additional services as required, such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  4. Assist cleaners with their duties as needed.
  5. Establish work schedules to ensure seamless operations.
  6. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties when necessary.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in a related role, preferably in the hotel industry.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
Work Environment

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at River View Hotel, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be standing for extended periods and may be exposed to repetitive tasks.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 and $55,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the location and requirements of the role.
