Senior Internal Auditor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our internal audit department, you will be responsible for leading teams in internal audit and providing support to the Manager Internal Audit.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead audit teams as the Auditor-In-Charge (AIC) to manage and complete assigned projects;
- Prepare individual work programs for routine assignments and assist in the preparation of work programs in more complex engagements;
- Complete assigned work independently under the supervision of Manager or Director for more complex assignments;
- Communicate effectively with the team throughout the work;
- Analyze data in routine situations and prepare files and raise exceptions and provide value-added recommendations;
- Provide input into reports and manage his/her own time within the approved budget;
- Actively participate in team discussions, provide feedback to others within the group, and build and maintain networks with managers and employees;
- Maintain currency in professional standards (IIA, CIA, ISACA etc.) and apply these standards in every day interaction with clients and in the performance of work;
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned in support of the overall department objectives.
- Certified Internal Auditor designation (CIA) is required;
- Additional designations such as CPA or CISA are beneficial;
- Excellent report writing and the ability to present to all levels within the organization;
- Previous experience leading teams;
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment;
