Clinical Physiatrist and Rehabilitation Research Leader

About the Opportunity:

The University of Toronto and Toronto Rehabilitation Institute are seeking a full-time clinical physiatrist to lead our spinal cord rehabilitation program. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented clinician-scholar to grow with our team and contribute to innovative models of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs for individuals with spinal cord injuries/disorders
  • Promote translational research and knowledge translation within the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation
  • Contribute to the development of academic curriculum and educational programs

Requirements:

  • MD degree and certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
  • Completed advanced training in innovation, quality improvement, research, or teaching, or willingness to complete this training

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000-$350,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a pension plan, will be provided.
