Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement software development strategies and roadmaps to meet business objectives.
  • Lead high-performing cross-functional teams to deliver software products and features.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure timely delivery.
  • Design and develop reliable, cost-effective, and scalable software solutions.
  • Implement unit test code and assist in other relevant test automation.
  • Participate in effort and complexity estimation for proposed new features.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of existing products and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant and professional software experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation (oral and written) skills in English.
  • Ability to collaborate with team and stakeholders to derive options for solutions to problems.
  • Strong analysis, problem solving, design, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in C# programming.
  • Experience with JavaScript (AngularJS) and HTML.
  • Familiarity with Agile development process, SCRUM, and experience in R&D environment.
  • Experience with Visual Studio.
  • Experience in multithreading, real-time, or asynchronous programming.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this role is $100,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, EnerSys offers a comprehensive benefits package, including extended medical, vision, and dental coverage, life insurance, long-term disability, tuition reimbursement, and a 6% RRSP employer matching program.
