Parent Aide Program – Casual Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Parent Aide to provide home visiting services for parents who are active with Child & Family Services. The successful candidate will teach basic living and parenting skills in the home setting, connect families with community resources, and maintain consistent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct client services as directed by the CFS worker, promoting the functioning and wellbeing of the client.
- Complete documentation for services provided, including service reports and billing.
- Assist clients in meeting safety plan goals set by the family.
- Communicate with case workers regarding client progress.
- Verify authorization for services provided.
- Build strong relationships with clients.
- Utilize technology to communicate effectively.
- Meet weekly and monthly deadlines consistently.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License (or other means of transportation).
- Ability to provide own transportation for which mileage log will be submitted for reimbursement.
- Recent and satisfactory Criminal Record check, Driver's Abstract, and Child Abuse Record check.
