Job Summary

The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating clinical education programs for nurses, practitioners, and healthcare aides in the Beaufort Delta and Sahtu regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver clinical education programs that ensure continuing competency amongst Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) healthcare professionals.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on clinical education to nurses, practitioners, and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and deliver clinical-related courses for healthcare professionals to meet their ongoing educational requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify education needs and develop programs to meet those needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing and a minimum of three years' work-related experience in an acute care healthcare setting.
  • Minimum of two years' experience providing clinical education.
  • Current registration/membership with the Registered Nurses Association of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
  • Proof of immunization in keeping with current public health practices.
What We Offer

The salary for this position starts at $51.42 per hour (approximately $100,269.00 per annum) plus an annual Northern Allowance.
