Job Title: Bookkeeper

Prime Hut Pizza & Indian Cuisine Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
