Communications Strategist

At the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, we are seeking a skilled Communications Strategist to drive our communications strategy forward. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our communications initiatives, both internal and external. You will play a key role in shaping our brand messaging, enhancing our external community communications, and ensuring consistency in our voice across all channels.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of professional experience in communications, journalism, PR, and/or marketing. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, are essential. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with local and national staff members, is also crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute communications projects, including integrated communications campaigns
  • Act as the primary liaison between the communications team and the Ontario team
  • Provide communications advice and support to Federation Executives
  • Identify opportunities to advance CIJA's advocacy/community objectives

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in communications, journalism, PR, and/or marketing
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
