Job Title: Senior Java Software Developer
About the Role:

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java and related Cloud-Native technologies
  • Develop REST APIs and participate in the creation of high-quality software design and documentation
  • Assist with troubleshooting production issues and support day-to-day operations

Requirements:
  • At least 15 years of hands-on experience with software development
  • Strong expertise in Java/JEE, including Spring Boot
  • Experience with microservice architecture and application security in Cloud environments

Preferred Experience:
  • Working with portals handling digital signatures
  • Enterprise integration technologies and application security

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong SQL skills and relational databases
  • Understanding of security best practices and knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Criteria:
Criteria 1 - Technical Design (35 Points)
  • Strong expertise in design and development using JEE technologies and Spring Boot
  • Experience in User Interface design, integration design, and data modeling
  • Designing solutions from business requirements

Criteria 2 - Technical Framework (35 Points)
  • Experience in JEE technologies, Microservice architecture, API Services, etc.
  • Proficiency in Java Frameworks and technologies
  • Experience in Single Page Application development

Criteria 3 - Integration Skills (20 Points)
  • Knowledge of data transformation techniques
  • Experience in JEE technologies, Service-Oriented architecture, etc.
  • Strong SQL skills and relational databases

Criteria 4 - Security (10 Points)
  • Experience with Security and Web Services Security standards
  • Understanding and implementation of security best practices
  • Knowledge of common web security practices
