Job Summary

Met Blinds Inc is seeking a skilled Assembly Line Labourer to join our team. As an Assembly Line Labourer, you will be responsible for transporting items throughout the plant using powered equipment, sorting, packing, and crating materials and products, and assisting machine operators and other workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Handling: Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment, ensuring safe and efficient movement of materials.
  • Sorting and Packaging: Sort, pack, and crate materials and products according to company standards and procedures.
  • Assistance and Support: Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers in their daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Warehouse.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
  • Job Type: Permanent.
