We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandising Service Associate to join our team at RONA. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our stores are visually appealing and well-stocked with merchandise.
Key Responsibilities- Product Display Maintenance: Ensure that product displays are well-maintained, visually appealing, and meet company standards.
- Stock Availability: Verify that stock levels are adequate and that products are properly stocked and faced.
- Communication: Communicate with the Merchandising Service team regarding project priorities, scheduling, and project needs.
- Reset Merchandise: Review and complete all assigned WIRE merchandise reset and service tasks, ensuring that reset merchandise is stocked, fronted, fully packed down, and priced in assigned areas according to planogram.
- Project Execution: Provide project information, updates, and feedback on project execution to the Merchandising Service team.
- Pre- and Post-Walks: Perform pre- and post-walks to ensure that projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Damage Identification: Identify damaged products, remove them from shelves, and deliver them to the Return to Manufacturer (RTM) area.
- Buyback Verification: Assist in verifying buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping.
- Bay Maintenance: Install, maintain, and reorder damaged signage and product brochures, and ensure POP reorder stickers are current, clean, intact, and properly displayed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power equipment, including lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment as needed.
- Feedback and Analysis: Provide feedback and analysis on service execution to store, market, and corporate leaders.
- Basic Arithmetic: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
- Computer Skills: Ability to utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Merchandising Experience: Six (6) months of experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms, setting up and tearing down displays.
- Power Equipment Operation: Experience operating power equipment, such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
- Basic Tools: Working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job, such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
- Task Orientation: Task and results-oriented, with the ability to work in a repetitive work environment.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and react to unexpected outcomes in a timely manner.
- Feedback: Be open to feedback and willing to adapt to changing circumstances.
