We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Stagwood Construction Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.
Responsibilities- Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision and care.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Collaborate with the construction team to frame houses, erect walls, and build roofs, demonstrating a keen eye for detail.
- Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring a stable and even surface.
- Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance work, identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, contributing to a clean and efficient work process.
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is highly valued.
- Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and in noisy and dusty environments.
- Physical stamina to handle tasks that involve lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy materials.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on maintaining a positive and productive work atmosphere.
- Availability to work 35 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
