Store Manager

BC LTD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and controlling daily operations, evaluating performance, and managing staff and duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and control daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of the store.
- Evaluate daily operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Manage staff and assign duties, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, aligning with company goals and objectives.
- Implement price and credits policies, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies, promoting the store and increasing sales.
- Determine staffing requirements, ensuring adequate coverage and support.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to staff.
- Supervise office and volunteer staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Free parking available.
- Support for newcomers and refugees, including assistance with immediate settlement needs and social and labour market integration.
- Support for youths, including on-the-job training, mentorship, and awareness training.
- Support for Indigenous people, including mentorship, coaching, and cultural competency training.
- Support for visible minorities, including hiring policies, mentorship programs, and diversity and cross-cultural training.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail business setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
