Job Title: Construction Labourer and Helper

Vernsstucco is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring the smooth execution of projects, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the construction process by loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, as well as erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and operate equipment and machinery such as mortar and concrete mixers, pumpcretes, air guns, nail guns, and drills.
  • Work in various locations and maintain a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures, and reporting any hazards or incidents to the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, and a willingness to relocate for this position.
  • Language: English.
  • Work hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
