Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Corvus Construction Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings, bridges, and other structures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures
Requirements:
  • Carpenter Trade Certification
  • Carpenter Red Seal Certificate
  • 5 years or more of experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation and vehicle
