Description

Are you a gaming enthusiast looking to leverage your native language skills? PTW-Montreal is seeking an Italian Localization QA Game Tester to join our team.

This role involves working on the localization of video games, ensuring that the content is accurate and engaging for Italian-speaking players. As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will be responsible for:

  • Proofreading and identifying errors in the Italian language
  • Verifying that the game adheres to console manufacturer guidelines
  • Writing reports of errors and bugs to help improve the game
  • Providing feedback on the game to ensure it meets the highest quality standards
  • Ensuring the game runs smoothly by identifying missing or incorrect content
  • Performing ad hoc translations as needed

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Native-level proficiency in Italian, with a strong understanding of the language and culture
  • Excellent proficiency in English, with the ability to comprehend and interpret internal documentation
  • Basic proficiency in French, with the ability to facilitate communication and collaboration
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
