About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Letto's Enterprises Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel, motel, and resort properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners, empty trash cans and other waste containers, and perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Tasks: Perform safety and security checks, move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Take Care of Grounds and Facilities: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Work with Contractors and Tradespeople: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, and make adjustments and minor repairs to equipment and systems.
  • Ensure a Safe and Secure Environment: Perform safety and security checks, and ensure that all facilities and equipment are in good working order.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads.
