Pet Groomer Job Description

Paw Time Ltd is seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for bathing and shampooing animals, clipping their coats, and documenting their behavior. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be reliable, and have a client-focused approach. Key Responsibilities:

  • Bathe and shampoo animals
  • Clip animal coat
  • Document animal behavior
  • Monitor animal behavior
  • Style animal coat
  • Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures
  • Keep records of animals treated
  • Clean animal ears
  • Provide flea bath treatments to animals
  • Clip animal nails
  • Perform dental cleaning on domestic animals
Work Environment:

The Pet Groomer will work in a pet grooming shop, handling all breeds of dogs and domestic animals/pets. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be physically demanding, and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Reliable and client-focused approach
  • Team player with a passion for animal care
