Senior Transportation Engineer Position
We are seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Engineer to join our team in Markham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and/or assisting with various tasks, including analysis and design efforts in road safety, traffic operations, and design of traffic operations devices and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare traffic and transportation studies associated with land development, transportation, transit, and infrastructure projects
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop full design packages and maintain client communications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's University Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering with registration as a Professional Engineer
- 5-8 years of related experience including road safety, traffic operations, municipal infrastructure, and roadway design experience at increasing levels of responsibility
- Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
- Proficient in the application of specialized traffic assessment software (Synchro, AutoTurn, etc.)
