Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mechanical support to our production group, ensuring continuous operations and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on packaging equipment and associated systems
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and implement effective solutions
  • Modify, install, and maintain machinery and equipment in the processing and packaging departments
  • Setup, takedown, and relocation of equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production staff

Requirements

  • Millwright License or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years mechanical experience in a high-speed packaging and/or manufacturing environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and Lockout Procedures
  • Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management software
  • Good knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with electrical systems
  • Basic Electrical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Welding certificate
  • PLC troubleshooting

Compensation

$43.35 per hour
