Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Peace Arch Gardening Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of grounds maintenance staff to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
  • Grounds Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement plans for grounds maintenance, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Labour and Materials Estimation: Plan and estimate labour and materials required for various projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Construction and Maintenance: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other outdoor features, as well as maintain existing structures and landscaping.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including logs and reports.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Problem-Solving and Quality Control: Identify and resolve work-related problems, provide technical guidance, and recommend improvements to increase productivity and quality.
  • Scheduling and Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
