Job Opportunity: Seasonal Pilots (Support - Shadow)

Forest Protection Limited is seeking highly skilled and experienced pilots to join our team as Seasonal Pilots (Support - Shadow) for the upcoming season.

About the Role
  • Operate assigned aircraft in accordance with FPL's Company Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Perform all key job duties and any other assigned by the Flight Operations Management team from time to time
  • Responsible for carrying loading crews and equipment to reload bases around New Brunswick and assisting with various loading duties as needed
  • Adhere to instructions issued by officers of the Department of Natural Resources on fire suppression or instructions from the base manager when assigned to aerial application projects
  • Complete required pre-flight and post-flight paperwork in a timely and thorough manner
  • Report all items requiring maintenance on the aircraft as soon as possible
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the aircraft at all times
About the Team

As a Seasonal Pilot (Support - Shadow) with Forest Protection Limited, you will be part of a dynamic team that works together to protect and preserve the forests that sustain us.

Qualifications
  • Possess a Commercial Pilot License - Fixed wing
  • Have obtained at least 1000 hours of total time and 100hrs multi-engine PIC
  • Have a valid IFR
  • Experience in a Piper Aerostar, Cessna Caravan, or aircraft equipped with a Garmin G1000NXI is an asset
Operational Requirements
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Have a valid passport
  • Have a modern smartphone with an up-to-date operating system capable of running secure company communication apps
  • Have CSA approved footwear
