The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing system-related documentation, such as business requirements, fit/gap analysis, functional specifications, training materials, and user manuals. They will be able to work with clients at all organizational levels to define business processes and provide advice on the use of PeopleSoft to support business requirements.

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in PeopleSoft FSCM v92 is required, with extensive experience in two or more of the following Oracle PeopleSoft modules: Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Management, Accounts Receivables, Billing.
  • Develop and maintain systems using Peopletools, peoplecode, SQR, App Engine, PSQuery, etc.
  • Consult with staff and third-party vendor staff in the development of systems and procedures or in revising methods for obtaining and standardizing input and output data.
  • Test all systems and/or programs to ensure accuracy. Develop test data for all changes and review results with users and/or the Manager of Software and Business Applications. Recommend solutions to problems.
  • Assist in all aspects of planning and development with respect to information technology.
  • Assist clients in the diagnosis of problems by troubleshooting the workstation, software, application system, network, or any related equipment.
  • Collaborate with user groups to further develop IS solutions with a global proactive approach.
  • Identify needs, recommend, support, and facilitate the implementation of related change to improve client care and branch operations in keeping with business objectives.
  • Ensure that system modules are developed, revised, thoroughly tested, and implemented in concurrence with user requirements.
  • Conduct research, analysis, design (including options), estimates, and recommendations using the SDLC methodology.
  • Utilize time/project management techniques/tools to emphasize proactive planning and monitoring of assignments through to successful completion with WIN/WIN results for both the customer and IS.
  • Develop reports to be generated by the system as requested by user areas, and duly approved following prescribed methodologies.
  • Implement a smooth transfer to the customer for user acceptance testing inclusive of user manuals. This includes resolving agreed-upon problems.
  • Foster an interest in continuing education and facilitate self-directed learning by making information available to staff. Participate in activities to foster own professional development.

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health and dental insurance, retirement plan, and paid vacation time. We are located in Mississauga, ON, with a hybrid work arrangement.
