Job Overview

About the Role

This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be able to mix paint to desired color and texture, measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed
  • Mix paint to desired color and texture according to specifications
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques and tools
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings to ensure a smooth finish
  • Measure and cut wallpaper and other fabric to fit walls and ceilings
  • Advise customers on colors and choice of wall coverings based on their preferences and needs
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
  • Lifting and carrying heavy equipment and materials
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Exposure to dust, fumes, and other hazardous substances
