Claims Support Representative, Bodily Injury

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Claims Support Representative to join our Bodily Injury team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-level investigation support through internal and external systems on bodily injury claims and claimant background information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing internal claims systems and external tools to complete advanced desk-bound investigations of files referred from Bodily Injury team members.
  • Searching social media, online sources, and public information, and completing Consumer Insurance Search (CIS) and Autoplus searches as required.
  • Collaborating with claims staff and other internal and external departments through the investigation process.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry or related field.
  • Post-secondary education.
  • Ability to work towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
  • Previous experience in desktop investigations is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of bodily injury claims process is considered an asset.
