  • Manage documents, including data entry, SMC entries, taking minutes, and filing, to maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with the orientation of new employees to ensure they understand company policies and procedures.
  • Develop training materials to educate employees on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
  • Review paperwork, including PSI, tailgate meetings, and safework procedures, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and maintain the environmental program to minimize the company's environmental footprint.
  • Recognize and follow PCL and local legislative requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Analyze site-specific trends and incidents and report findings to district management.
  • Gather, review, and distribute safety-related statistical information to inform decision-making.
  • Interpret, communicate, and reinforce project safety standards to the workforce.
Qualifications
  • Able to implement HSE program elements and safe operating procedures.
  • Knowledge of environmental requirements and the ability to implement systems that meet compliance.
  • Able to plan and employ preventative measures to reduce the risks of exposure to hazards.
  • Able to determine the cause of an incident and initiate corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong willingness to learn.
  • Access to a clean, reliable vehicle.
