Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant II to join our team at Lawtons. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, processing prescriptions, and promoting our PROfile programs. If you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and are looking for a challenging and rewarding career, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Process customer transactions, including receiving and releasing prescriptions
- Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
- Promote PROfile programs to customers
- Compounding and pill pack assembly
- Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, and cleaning
- Drug order creation and receiving
- Schedule professional clinical services, such as medication reviews and health risk assessments
- Manage BTC and administrative duties, including cycle counts and narcotic counts
- Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
- Preferred: Undergraduate degree or Pharmacy Technology Certificate from a recognized Canadian college
- Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
