Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team at Autocorp Technologies Inc. as a Backend Engineering Lead. This is a key role that will involve designing, developing, and maintaining our backend services using a combination of programming languages and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Backend Service Development: Design, develop, and maintain our backend services using a combination of programming languages and frameworks, including TypeScript and GraphQL.
  • Database Management: Manage and optimize our PostgreSQL databases for optimal performance and reliability.
  • API Development: Develop APIs and services using GraphQL to facilitate clear and effective communication between our frontend and backend systems.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior developers in best practices, code quality, and tech frameworks.
  • System Scalability: Ensure scalability and reliability of all backend systems through effective design and implementation.
  • Cloud Deployment: Continuously integrate and deploy developed software updates to the cloud using AWS services.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in backend development with a strong understanding of programming languages, frameworks, and databases.
  • Skills: Proficient in managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases, extensive experience with AWS services, understanding of serverless architecture, and hands-on experience with infrastructure as code.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to execute complex projects, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
