About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Athletic Trainer to join our team at Making Waves Academy. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our student-athletes, while also supporting their academic success and personal growth.

Key Functions

  • Provide medical care and support to student-athletes during practices and competitions.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs for all sports.
  • Collaborate with coaches, athletes, and parents to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records of student-athlete injuries and treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • 2+ years experience as an Athletic Trainer, preferably in a high school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of various sports and their specific injury risks.
  • Compassionate and student-focused approach.
  • Excellent assessment and decision-making skills.
