Product Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our team at Critical Mass. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and user-centered design solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop original design concepts that meet project goals and creative direction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore design ideas and iterate on layouts
  • Prepare design files and presentation materials for creative reviews
  • Guide design ideas to meet both creative and business goals within project scope
  • Present design rationale and solutions to project teams
  • Consult with technical teams to ensure designs work within given limitations
  • Review final deliverables for flawless layout, images, and typography

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in visual design for web, mobile, and/or app design
  • High proficiency in formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, proportion, rhythm, emphasis, and unity
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced creative environment and deliver quality design at high volume
  • Photoshop expertise, including organizing files for design iteration and adhering to graphic design standards
  • Reliable judgment and initiative to collaborate with others to find solutions
  • Passion for nurturing relationships, mentoring, and rallying teams to align around vision
  • Clear communication and presentation skills for creative and technical audiences
  • Prototyping ability to convey preferred states, motion, and/or behaviors for interactive concepts
  • Strong understanding of web development, including HTML, CSS, iOS, and other technologies
  • Experience with digital creative tools, including Sketch, Figma, Principle, Adobe Creative Suite, Powerpoint, and Keynote

What We Offer:

Base salary range: $65,000 - $70,000 CAD
