Job Description

Trystar is a leading provider of portable and permanent power distribution solutions. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and visitors on site, as well as complying with all relevant EHS regulations and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS principles and practices, with experience in risk assessment, hazard control, and incident investigation. You will also have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior staff members.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive EHS strategies and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead and participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and engineering teams to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into business decisions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members on EHS policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, or Environmental Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive work experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Aptitude for exercising independent thinking and reasoning.
