Job Description
Vancouver Island Health Authority seeks a skilled Registered Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide excellent patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

About the Position
This casual nursing position offers flexibility and variety, allowing you to work on an as-required basis. You will be responsible for assessing patients/residents, planning and carrying out nursing care, and teaching patients and families. Your expertise will also be utilized to collaborate with other healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.

Responsibilities
* Assess patients/residents and develop individualized care plans
* Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to promote patient well-being
* Educate patients and families about their medical conditions and treatment plans
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements
* Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant or a practicing RPN registrant
* Recent related experience (up to two years)
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
