Civil Engineer Project Manager for Land Development

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with strong project management skills to join our Alberta-based Community Development group. As a Civil Engineer Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring timely project delivery within budget.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver subdivision engineering construction drawings for residential, industrial, and commercial projects.
  • Guide projects through conceptual design, detailed design, scheduling, and construction phases.
  • Liaise with clients, municipalities, and other stakeholders to obtain project requirements, permits, and approvals.
  • Coordinate work of land development staff and review their deliverables.
  • Ensure projects meet applicable specifications and standards as per governing municipalities and adhere to Stantec's QA/QC program.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in land development, with a strong background in civil engineering and project management.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
