We are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team at Bittersweetsymphony Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough and batters for various baked goods, following recipes and special customer orders.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
  • Prepare special orders and decorate cakes and baked goods.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
Work Environment:

Our bakery is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where teamwork and attention to detail are essential. As a Bakery Assistant, you will work in a bake shop setting, preparing a variety of baked goods for our customers.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
