We are a reputable consulting firm seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Technologist to join our team of experts at GEMTEC Consulting Engineers & Scientists Limited.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of engineering designs for civil infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality projects, leveraging expertise in structural analysis and design.
- Assist with project management, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
- Prepare and review technical reports, providing clear and concise documentation of project findings and recommendations.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and inform design decisions, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, driving innovation and growth within the company.
Requirements:
- Registration with the New Brunswick Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (PTech).
- College diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering consulting, with a strong background in structural analysis and design.
- Proficiency in design software, including Revit, BIM 360, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
