About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team at Sahib Truck Repair Ltd. as a Mechanic Assistant. In this role, you will provide support to our mechanics and technicians in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics and technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and trucks.
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed.
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
Requirements
  • Steel-toed safety boots are required for this role.
  • Flexibility and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
