About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support to individuals, helping them to achieve their goals and live a life that is meaningful to them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and guidance to individuals in achieving their life goals
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Accompany individuals on community outings, including volunteering, employment, and leisure activities
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities and goal progression
Available Positions

We have a permanent full-time position available, with a schedule that includes:

  • Friday: 8:00am-3:00pm
  • Saturday: 8:00am-8:00pm
  • Sunday: 8:00am-8:00pm
About You

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting others and has a strong understanding of person-centered and active support approaches. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Class 5 driver's license (permanent staff must be willing to obtain a Class 4 license)
  • A First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • A clear criminal record (paid by CLS)
  • A clean driver's abstract
  • The capability of supporting individuals on extended walks or hikes
Assets:
  • Experience in high behavioral support
  • Prior paid or volunteer experience
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training
  • Mandt System
  • Knowledge of Person Centered Active Supports
