Job SummaryThe Information Technology Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to our computer systems and networks. This includes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, installing and configuring new hardware and software, and ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to staff and clients, resolving technical issues and ensuring that our systems are running smoothly.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including backups, updates, and security checks, to ensure the integrity and security of our systems.
- Hardware and Software Installation: Install and configure new hardware and software, ensuring that it is compatible with our existing systems.
- Network Administration: Manage and maintain our computer networks, ensuring that they are secure and running efficiently.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, using analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and fix problems.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with staff and clients, providing clear and concise technical information and support.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a technical support role, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Microsoft certified IT professional (MCITP) and A+ Certification.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
The Information Technology Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to distinguish between colors is required, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.
