Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced finish carpenter to join our team at Handyman Connection - K/W, Cambridge, Guelph & Brantford. As a finish carpenter, you will be responsible for providing a professional service to our customers, including trim work, door installation, and hardware installation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate customer requests and price projects accurately
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and present a description of a work order to a customer
  • Install various trims, hang doors and door hardware, and frame interior walls
  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard
  • Design and construct decks and fences
  • Determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects
Requirements
  • Driver's License and Insurance
  • Your own tools, vehicle, and good references
  • Experience in the remodeling or home repair trades (5+ years of direct experience)
  • General Liability insurance (Preferred but not required)
  • Must pass a screening process
  • Must have a smartphone and access to the internet
  • Registered with WSIB (Preferred but not required)
