Steam Plant Operator

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Steam Plant Operator to join our Power and Recovery department at Mondi Hinton Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the steam plant, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor steam plant equipment including boilers, turbines, and auxiliary systems.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of plant operations and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational procedures and best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless plant operations and address any issues that arise.

Minimum of 3 years of experience operating steam plant equipment, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong understanding of steam plant operations, maintenance, and safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Proficient in the use of computerized control systems and software. Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
