Cashier Job Description

Alberta Ltd is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas
  • Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels
  • Assist customers with finding products and answering questions
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting sales and customer service goals
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales and customer service goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.

The primary language of work is English.
