Truck Driver

At Canus Logistics Inc., we are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and transporting goods and materials across various routes. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our cargo.
Key Responsibilities- Drive and Transport Goods: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Inspect Vehicle and Equipment: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Perform Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance, pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
- Handle Cargo: Load and unload goods, tarp, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
- Communicate with Central Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
- AZ Class License: Possess a valid AZ class license.
- Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license.
- Physical Demands: Be physically demanding and able to handle heavy loads.
Work Conditions: Work on a permanent basis, with a large workload and overtime required. Hours of work will be 40 to 60 hours per week.
