Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Alberta Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of store staff, including sales associates, apprentices, and design team members.
  • Sales and Operations: Assign sales workers to duties, manage sales floor operations, and oversee payroll administration.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering merchandise and authorizing returns.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
  • Training and Development: Hire, train, and develop staff members, including teaching interest or professional development courses.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights for business growth.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Working Conditions:

  • 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Temporary employment.
