Job Description

As a Coatings Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services for residential and commercial projects. Your primary duties will include preparing surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and priming, applying paint, stains, and finishes using various equipment, inspecting and touching up surfaces as needed to ensure a smooth finish, and following safety procedures at all times.

Responsibilities
  1. Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are properly prepared for painting, including scraping, sanding, and priming as necessary.
  2. Painting Services: Apply paint, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to achieve a high-quality finish.
  3. Quality Control: Inspect and touch up surfaces as needed to ensure a smooth, even finish.
  4. Safety Procedures: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines at all times, including wearing personal protective equipment and adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a painter or coatings specialist, preferably in residential or commercial settings.
  • Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and safety protocols, as well as strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
