What You Will Do
The Medical Imaging department at Royal Inland Hospital consists of five general ultrasound rooms and four echo rooms, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will perform a variety of scans, including general and echo procedures, using Philips IU22 and GE units. Our regional Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) and Electronic Health Record ensure seamless patient care and real-time access to patient histories.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate of a recognized North American program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and hold current certification with Sonography Canada or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, as required for the assigned practice area. Membership with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS is also a requirement.
